We are happy to once again use Renderone Australia Pty Ltd render products on our 3rd major project. The beauty of this system is that it has the ability to adhere on all substrates, including block/brick/blue-board, with a bond strength 10 times stronger than traditional sand-cement renders. Also the fact that the system "wont go drummy" and is water resistant. This is especially important on high rise buildings where access for repairs is difficult. To date we have had no call back for "drummy" render when using this product.
The high quality of workmanship in the application of the render on the last 2 projects by Tuscan Applied Finishes has led to this product being specified on the newest project. Well done to Werner Wegner and his team!

Almost 2000 sq metres floor area
3 concrete pumps required to pour
26 concretors
3 concrete plants will be used
Please check the link to keep up to date.
52 tonne of steel out of 114 tonne that makes up the strength of the building has been completed in a very quick time frame.
The pour is going ahead at this stage on the 17th December 2009.
This is an amazing photo of the bottom layer steel and the electrical conduits that are required to take all the services through the building.

In a total of 1 week, the entire floor area of the deck was completed!
Well done boys from Action Formwork.

For the first time, Soberon has had the crane placed in the basement. It has allowed us to perform jobs much earlier than ever before.
Clearly allowing us to building formwork before the entire floor space of the car parks are even completed.

We have made very good progress, with the good weather and the assistance of the crane.
We have managed to dig the remainder of the footings and pour the columns, ready for the bricklayers to finish all internal walls..
We can taste the podium slab for Xmas!

These are the views from the crane. Unfortunately not from the units.. I had to travel a little higher than the height of the building to take these shots. Was a glorious day!
